"Add to calendar" link API
An "Add to calendar" button needs a URL that returns an event file. Build it from query parameters - title, start, end, location, description, a link and a reminder - and the response is the .ics file, generated on the spot.
Request
curl "https://api.dokaz.net/v1/calendar/ics?title=Webinar%3A+pricing+Q%26A&start=2026-10-08T17%3A00%3A00Z&end=2026-10-08T18%3A00%3A00Z&url=https%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fjoin&reminder_minutes=15"
The response is the .ics file. Parameters it does not know are refused with a 400 rather than ignored, so a typo like "locaton" shows up while you build the link, not after the email goes out.
Not writing code? The free Add to calendar link and .ics file tool does the same job in your browser, no sign-up.

Questions
Can a link carry attendees or a repeat rule?
No - keep links short. POST JSON to the same path for organizer, attendees and weekly or monthly repeats.
